1. Use of the Platform

2. Marketplace Role

  • RepairSquare.ca is an online platform that connects homeowners (“Clients”) with service providers (“Professionals”).

  • We do not directly provide repair or maintenance services.

  • Any work performed is solely between the Client and the Professional.

  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Professionals.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for reviewing Professional profiles, ratings, and credentials before hiring.

  • Professionals are responsible for ensuring they are properly licensed, insured, and qualified for the services they offer.

  • Both Clients and Professionals agree to communicate honestly and respectfully.

4. Payments

  • Payment terms may vary depending on agreements made between Clients and Professionals.

  • RepairSquare.ca may provide payment tools but is not responsible for disputes over pricing, refunds, or completed work.

  • Any applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the Professional.

5. Cancellations & Disputes

  • Clients and Professionals are encouraged to resolve cancellations and disputes directly.

  • RepairSquare.ca may, at its discretion, assist in mediating but does not guarantee resolution.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or services.

  • Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content.

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform.

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on RepairSquare.ca, including logos, text, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to us.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit our content without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • RepairSquare.ca is not liable for damages arising from the use of our platform, including disputes between Clients and Professionals.

  • We are not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from services booked through our platform.

  • Our liability, to the maximum extent permitted by law, is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for use of our Services.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RepairSquare.ca, its owners, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications

We may update or change these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law
